Saudi Arabia is becoming a destination that resists being reduced to a single travel experience. In one journey, travellers can move from the contemporary energy of Riyadh to the historic character of Jeddah, the ancient landscapes of AlUla and the turquoise waters of the Red Sea.

That diversity is at the heart of a new destination campaign from the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) and travel platform Wego, inviting travellers across the Middle East and North Africa to discover more of Saudi through its different destinations, landscapes, cultural experiences and year-round events.

Rather than focusing on one particular style of holiday, the campaign presents Saudi as a destination that can be shaped around individual interests. A single itinerary can combine heritage and contemporary culture, outdoor adventure and wellness, or food, shopping and entertainment.

For families, that could mean combining cultural attractions with outdoor activities and large-scale entertainment. Couples and leisure travellers can build their journeys around dining, shopping, wellness and coastal escapes, while those looking for adventure can explore archaeological sites, mountain landscapes and desert environments.

The Red Sea adds another dimension to the experience. Diving and water-based activities reveal a very different side of Saudi, complementing the country’s vast inland landscapes and giving travellers another reason to venture beyond its major cities.

At the heart of the campaign is the idea of experiencing more than one destination during a single visit. Riyadh offers a contemporary urban experience, while Jeddah combines its Red Sea setting with a historic character shaped by centuries of trade and cultural exchange. Further north, AlUla presents one of Saudi Arabia’s most dramatic landscapes, where ancient archaeological sites sit among vast desert formations.

The journey can continue to Diriyah and the Eastern Province, adding further cultural, culinary and coastal experiences to an itinerary.

Saudi’s events calendar provides another reason to explore at different times of the year. Cultural festivals, live entertainment, sporting events and seasonal programmes bring different destinations into focus throughout the calendar.

During Saudi Winter, visitors can expect a broad programme of events and outdoor experiences across destinations including Riyadh, Jeddah, AlUla, Diriyah and the Eastern Province. For travellers from neighbouring Gulf markets, sport will also provide a timely reason to visit Jeddah, which is scheduled to host Gulf Cup 27 from September 23 to October 6, 2026.

The partnership with Wego is designed to reach travellers throughout the journey from inspiration to planning. Through destination-led editorial content, digital activations and travel inspiration, the campaign will showcase different ways to experience Saudi and encourage travellers to look beyond the country’s most familiar destinations.

For regional travellers, Saudi’s accessibility makes it possible to build trips around everything from shorter city escapes to longer multi-destination journeys. Riyadh or Jeddah can serve as starting points before an itinerary extends towards AlUla, the desert, the mountains or the Red Sea.

Ultimately, the campaign reflects the growing range of experiences available across Saudi. There is no single way to experience the destination, and that may be one of its most compelling qualities for travellers looking to create a journey around their own interests.

From contemporary cities and ancient landscapes to coastal adventures, culture, entertainment and seasonal events, Saudi Arabia offers considerably more than one story to discover.
