Prime Video has unveiled the official trailer for Reacher Season Four, giving fans a closer look at Alan Ritchson’s return as Jack Reacher and the dangerous new mission awaiting the former military investigator.

The trailer was revealed July 25 during Prime Video’s San Diego Comic-Con panel at Ballroom 20 in San Diego, California, where the cast and creative team gathered to preview the highly anticipated fourth season of the hit action series.

Reacher Season Four premieres exclusively on Prime Video on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, launching with three episodes before moving to a weekly release schedule. The eight-episode season will conclude on Wednesday, September 16.

The Comic-Con appearance also delivered an early confirmation about the future of the franchise, with Alan Ritchson announcing that Reacher Season Five will be based on Make Me, the 20th novel in Lee Child’s bestselling Jack Reacher book series.

Reacher Season 4 Takes Jack Reacher Into a Deadly New Conspiracy

The fourth season of Reacher is based on Lee Child’s 13th novel, Gone Tomorrow, and once again puts its central character in the middle of a high-stakes conspiracy.

This time, Reacher’s latest case begins with a chance encounter on a subway. After crossing paths with a distraught stranger, what initially appears to be an isolated incident quickly develops into something far more dangerous.

Reacher is soon pulled into a complex and deadly game involving ruthless enemies with connections to the highest levels of power. As the stakes continue to rise, he must rely on his instincts, investigative abilities, and physical strength to uncover what is really happening.

The new season promises another combination of action, mystery, and tension that has become central to the Reacher franchise, while taking its protagonist into a threat considerably larger than a single encounter.

Alan Ritchson Returns as Jack Reacher

Alan Ritchson reprises his role as Jack Reacher for the fourth season, continuing his portrayal of the former military investigator who has become one of Prime Video’s most recognizable action protagonists.

Season Four also introduces several new additions to the cast, including Sydelle Noel, Chris Marquette, AGNEZ MO, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan, and Kathleen Robertson.

The San Diego Comic-Con panel featured Ritchson alongside AGNEZ MO and Anggun, offering fans an early look at what lies ahead in the new season.
