Miami Beach is preparing to welcome global travelers this April with a packed calendar of events that spotlight the destination’s signature blend of inclusivity, culture, and high-energy experiences. From its internationally recognized Pride celebrations to major fitness competitions and beachfront spectacles, the city is positioning itself as a must-visit spring escape.
Throughout the month, visitors can expect a mix of community-driven events, sports tourism highlights, and curated hotel packages aimed at making the Miami Beach experience more accessible and memorable.
“Miami Beach is an award-winning city, recognized by the industry as a marquee destination to experience connection through specialty experiences and events travelers will only find here,” said Mohan Koka, Chairman of the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority. “We are proud to continue celebrating our community through annual events that drive unity and awareness, attracting both new and returning visitors from around the world.”
A major highlight of the April calendar is Miami Beach Pride, one of North America’s most prominent LGBTQ+ celebrations. Running from April 2 to April 12, 2026, the annual event underscores the city’s longstanding commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Festivities culminate in the Miami Beach Pride Festival, a weekend gathering that brings together locals and international visitors for live entertainment, cultural programming, and a vibrant parade along Ocean Drive. The lineup includes high-energy concerts, drag performances, and community-led activations, reinforcing Miami Beach’s reputation as one of the world’s most welcoming travel destinations.
The city’s focus on wellness and sports tourism continues with the return of HYROX Miami, scheduled for April 3–5, 2026 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. The internationally recognized indoor fitness race combines endurance running with functional workout stations, attracting elite athletes and fitness enthusiasts from across the globe. The event further cements Miami Beach’s growing status as a hub for global sporting events and active travel experiences.
Adding to the city’s iconic lineup, the annual Model Volleyball Tournament returns for its 16th edition on the sands of South Beach. Known for blending competitive sport with fashion and entertainment, the event remains one of Miami Beach’s most recognizable beachfront attractions, drawing crowds for its unique mix of athleticism and spectacle.
“Our mission is to support events and experiences that bring the global community together on Miami Beach,” said Grisette Roque Marcos, Executive Director of the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority. “Our sponsorship of HYROX Miami and the Model Volleyball Tournament reflects our commitment to offering activities that both locals and visitors can enjoy.”
To complement the busy events calendar, several Miami Beach hotels are introducing limited-time offers aimed at spring travelers.
The Avalon Hotel, located along Ocean Drive, is offering up to 20% savings for guests who stay four nights or more. The package includes complimentary morning coffee and tea, beach chairs, refillable bottled water, and Wi-Fi ideal for visitors planning to immerse themselves in the Pride festivities.
Meanwhile, The Plymouth South Beach is promoting early booking incentives, with up to 20% off stays reserved at least 14 days in advance, along with complimentary room upgrades.
