Marriott International has announced the global debut of Series by Marriott, a new collection brand within the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio, with its first phase launching exclusively in India. The rollout introduces 26 hotels under The Fern Hotels & Resorts, adding over 1,900 rooms across 23 cities and marking a major milestone in the brand’s worldwide expansion strategy.
Developed as a regionally inspired, globally connected collection, Series by Marriott brings locally recognized hotel groups into the Marriott ecosystem while maintaining the brand’s hallmark of consistent, reliable service. Designed for “global domestic” travelers, the new brand focuses on well-executed essentials paired with regionally rooted experiences.
The Fern Hotels & Resorts becomes the inaugural partner for the brand, offering eco-sensitive, sustainability-driven properties from leisure destinations like Mussoorie and Daman to business hubs including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Pune.

The initial 26 properties include notable locations such as:
- The Fern Residency Ahmedabad – 69 rooms
- The Fern Residency Bengaluru – 79 rooms
- The Fern Sardar Sarovar Resort Ekta Nagar – 169 rooms
- The Fern Mumbai, Goregaon – 94 rooms
- The Fern Kochi – 92 rooms
- The Fern Brentwood Resort Mussoorie – 72 rooms
- The Fern Residency Pune (Woodland) – 87 rooms
- …and more across Jaipur, Kolhapur, Bodhgaya, Rajkot, Surat, Solapur, and others.
Guests can expect signature touches such as a Grab n Go Breakfast, Single Lady Traveller amenities, Evening Delight turndown service, a Lamp Lighting Ceremony, and a nightly Healthy Sleep ritual.
According to Suhail Kannampilly, Managing Director of Concept Hospitality, the response from partner hotels has “surpassed expectations,” reinforcing confidence in the rapid expansion of the Series by Marriott footprint.
All properties will participate in Marriott Bonvoy, enabling members to earn and redeem points and enjoy personalized digital services via the Marriott Bonvoy app.
Series by Marriott debuts through a founding partnership with Concept Hospitality Private Limited (CHPL), majority owned by CG Hospitality, part of global conglomerate CG Corp Global further positioning India as a key growth market for Marriott International.
