The partnership celebrates the meeting of mindful luxury and artistic expression, bringing Marimekko’s iconic prints and joyful spirit into JW Marriott’s tranquil world of hospitality.
As part of JW Marriott’s “Stay in the Moment” campaign, the collaboration introduces a series of thoughtfully curated experiences including Marimekko-themed rooms and suites, art-inspired afternoon teas, creative workshops, and an exclusive pop-up installation in Shanghai. Together, the two brands invite guests to embrace presence, creativity, and joy through design and discovery.

Blissful Stay with Marimekko | Themed Rooms and Suites
Across nine JW Marriott hotels in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing, Chengdu, and Xi’an, guests can book Marimekko-themed rooms and suites inspired by the Finnish brand’s timeless patterns. Details such as bedding, tea sets, bathrobes, and towels are adorned with Marimekko’s bold prints, blending comfort and creativity.
Guests will also receive a complimentary Marimekko tote bag as a keepsake, a tactile reminder of their stay designed to inspire everyday joy.
Artful Encounters | Afternoon Tea and Creative Workshops
Select properties, including JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Shanghai Pudong and JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong, will offer exclusive afternoon teas inspired by Marimekko’s colorful designs. The collaboration also features creative workshops, allowing guests to explore mindfulness through artistic expression and sensory experiences.
Both the “Blissful Stay with Marimekko” package and collaborative afternoon teas are available from November 6, 2025, to March 9, 2026, at participating JW Marriott hotels across Greater China.
Shanghai Pop-Up: The Art of Joyful Sojourns
A highlight of the collaboration, the JW Marriott × Marimekko pop-up will take place at Hotung House, Shanghai, from November 7 to 9, 2025.
This immersive, design-driven space invites visitors into a poetic “dance with nature,” combining warm-toned backdrops, paper art installations, and botanical décor. Guests are welcomed with affirmation cards and invited to write a letter to themselves, beginning a reflective and mindful journey.
At its center, the Serene Space, a signature JW Marriott concept features an art installation inspired by nature. Guests can enjoy freshly crafted beverages and pastries at the JW café, explore an aromatic wall of herbs, and browse a curated selection of Marimekko products in a dedicated retail area.
A series of immersive workshops, including fragrance blending, scented oil tablet making, and pet-friendly sessions, further blends Marimekko’s joyful creativity with JW Marriott’s philosophy of intentional living.
