The West Coast of Barbados has welcomed a significant new addition to its hospitality landscape with the official opening of Crystal Cove, Barbados, A Tribute Portfolio All-Inclusive Resort. Marking a milestone for Marriott International, the 88-room property becomes the first all-inclusive resort under the Tribute Portfolio brand, ushering in what executives describe as a new era of indie-spirited island escapes.

Situated just 15.9 miles from Grantley Adams International Airport, the beachfront resort occupies one of the island’s most celebrated stretches of coastline, known for calm turquoise waters and powder-soft sand. The property is positioned to attract curious, design-conscious and socially minded travelers seeking both atmosphere and ease along Barbados’ Platinum Coast.

“Bringing Tribute Portfolio into an all-inclusive setting is an exciting moment for the brand as well as the entire Caribbean region,” said Brian King, President, Caribbean and Latin America, Marriott International. “Crystal Cove naturally captures what makes the brand so compelling – personality, creativity, and a true sense of community – while delivering the ease and inclusivity that we know travelers crave. Crystal Cove brings the Tribute Portfolio lens to island living in a way that feels fresh, connected and distinctly Barbadian.”

Known for its “Community of Character” ethos, Tribute Portfolio emphasizes individuality and sense of place. At Crystal Cove, that translates into vivid design details, open-air gathering spaces and a layout that encourages spontaneous interaction.

Crystal Cove has been reimagined to reflect what management calls a strong sense of heart and soul. Three lagoon-style pools, leafy terraces and intimate corners invite exploration, while guestrooms and suites each offering ocean or garden views, balance modern comfort with timeless island charm.

The property’s design leans into warm textures and vibrant accents, reinforcing its distinctly Barbadian personality while maintaining the relaxed sophistication expected of a West Coast address.

Local Flavor Takes Center Stage

Dining is central to the resort’s all-inclusive experience, with a focus on social energy and regional authenticity. Across two restaurants and a coffee shop, guests can explore a mix of Caribbean classics and international cuisine:

High Tie Bar serves traditional Bajan and Caribbean dishes overlooking the sea. Artisan Restaurant features chef-curated menus with market-style selections and à la carte options. Vista Terrace Coffee & Wine Bar offers specialty coffees, teas and wines paired with sweeping ocean views. The iconic Cave Bar, set behind a cascading waterfall, remains a signature highlight, offering swim-up access and crafted cocktails in a uniquely tropical setting. As part of the all-inclusive concept, guests also gain access to the resort’s exclusive Dine Around Program, allowing them to sample culinary experiences at participating sister properties within the Barbados Collection.

Designed for Connection, Play and Events

In keeping with Tribute Portfolio’s community-driven philosophy, programming at Crystal Cove centers on shared experiences. The resort offers both motorized and non-motorized water sports, including boating, kayaking, sailing, snorkeling and water skiing, giving guests direct access to Barbados’ crystalline waters.

Families are catered for through an innovative kids club developed in partnership with CAMP, known for immersive, hands-on creative experiences.

Additional facilities include: A redesigned fitness center equipped with Life Fitness equipment, Meeting space accommodating up to 70 guests, suited for both corporate gatherings and intimate social events

“Our team is elated to reintroduce Crystal Cove as an all-inclusive resort, creating a place that truly reflects the spirit of Barbados and the character-driven essence of Tribute Portfolio,” said Alex Fiz, Area General Manager, Barbados Collection. “We wanted to create a resort that feels easy and welcoming from the moment guests arrive; somewhere you can settle in, slow down, and genuinely enjoy the rhythm of island life.”

Reservations are now open for stays beginning February 12, 2026. Crystal Cove, along with other properties in the Barbados Collection, participates in Marriott Bonvoy, enabling members to earn and redeem points across Marriott’s global portfolio of more than 30 hotel brands.

For travelers seeking a fresh take on all-inclusive luxury in Barbados — one that blends individuality, local character and beachfront ease, Crystal Cove enters the market with a distinctive proposition on the island’s coveted West Coast.
