Few things capture the spirit of French living quite like a freshly baked croissant and a beautifully prepared coffee. At Sofitel, that familiar ritual is being given a more indulgent interpretation this season as the hotel brand brings together its La Haute Croissanterie concept with Nespresso for a limited-edition culinary experience.
Available from September 1 to November 26, 2026, the Croissant & Coffee Pairing Menu will be offered across 20 Sofitel hotels worldwide, inviting guests to experience the classic café-croissant in a more contemporary way and, importantly, in the privacy of their own room.
The collaboration brings together two very different forms of craftsmanship. La Haute Croissanterie places the French pastry at the centre of the experience, while Nespresso introduces a selection of coffee creations designed to complement each pastry rather than simply accompany it. The result is less a traditional breakfast and more a small gastronomic ritual built around flavour, texture and presentation.
Delivered through Sofitel’s Please Disturb in-room dining experience, the menu is available throughout the day. Yet it is the finishing touches that give the experience its sense of occasion. Selected elements are completed tableside in the guest room, from a brûléed sugar finish to aromatic citrus mist and freshly grated chocolate and Sichuan pepper.
Three pairings form the heart of the experience:

Le Brûlé takes a refined approach to classic French pastry, pairing a cappuccino mousse brûlée with a crispy honey cream croissant. Almond brings the two together, while orange blossom and fresh citrus add a delicate brightness. The decaffeinated cappuccino, with its lightly caramelised character, mirrors the warm honeyed notes and crisp layers of the pastry.
L’Épicé moves into a darker, more expressive flavour profile. A spicy chocolate coffee is matched with a coffee-chocolate exotic croissant filled with silky ganache. Oat milk gives the coffee a smooth texture, while passion fruit introduces a lively acidity against the richness of the chocolate. A subtle touch of Sichuan pepper completes the pairing with a lingering aromatic warmth.
Then comes Le Tonique, the freshest of the three. An iced orange espresso tonic is served alongside a Paris-Brest croissant built around hazelnut praline and roasted hazelnuts. The combination of citrus, orange blossom and sparkling tonic creates a bright counterpoint to the richness of the pastry, resulting in a pairing that feels almost as refreshing as it is indulgent.
Together, the three creations explore just how far the traditional café-croissant can travel without losing its French identity. The flavours move from caramelised and delicate to rich and spicy, before finishing with something brighter and more refreshing.
For Sofitel, the collaboration represents another chapter in La Haute Croissanterie, an initiative that celebrates one of France’s most recognisable culinary signatures while giving its chefs room to experiment. With Nespresso bringing its own expertise in coffee, the focus shifts from the individual pastry to the relationship between pastry and coffee as a complete experience.
It is an approach that feels particularly suited to Sofitel. French art de vivre has always been central to the brand, but here it is expressed through something intimate and uncomplicated: the pleasure of taking time over coffee and pastry, with the added luxury of having the experience brought directly to your room.
The menu will be served at a selection of Sofitel properties across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North America, Australia and beyond. Participating hotels include Sofitel London Heathrow, Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk, Sofitel Singapore City Centre, Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour and Sofitel Riyadh Hotel & Convention Centre.
Paris naturally plays an important role, with the experience available at four Sofitel addresses including Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg, Sofitel Paris Baltimore Tour Eiffel, Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe and Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opéra. Other participating destinations span Marrakech, Rabat, Barcelona, Seoul, Mexico City, Cartagena, Montreal, Luxembourg and Brisbane.
There is something fitting about bringing such a quintessentially French ritual into the hotel room. Away from the pace of a restaurant or breakfast room, coffee and pastry become an invitation to slow down, savour and simply enjoy the moment.
With La Haute Croissanterie and Nespresso, Sofitel takes one of France’s most enduring everyday pleasures and gives it a distinctly modern luxury treatment – proof that sometimes the most memorable culinary experiences begin with something wonderfully familiar.
