Visa is bringing music fans closer to one of pop’s biggest acts after announcing its role as the Official Payment Partner for the highly anticipated Maroon 5 Asia 2027 Tour. The partnership will provide Visa cardholders with exclusive presale opportunities and premium fan experiences across several Asia-Pacific markets, reinforcing the company’s growing investment in the region’s entertainment and cultural landscape.

The collaboration comes as international concert tourism continues to gain momentum across Asia Pacific, where live music has become a significant driver of travel and consumer spending.

Maroon 5, the three-time Grammy Award-winning American pop-rock band led by Adam Levine, remains one of the world’s most influential music acts. With multiple Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping singles and more than 35 billion Spotify streams, the band continues to attract audiences worldwide.

The Maroon 5 Asia 2027 Tour will visit seven destinations across Asia Pacific, beginning in Taiwan on 24 January 2027 before making its way through the region and concluding in Singapore on 12 February 2027.

As part of the partnership, Visa cardholders in the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand will gain access to exclusive Visa Presales before tickets become available to the general public. Select Visa Infinite cardholders will receive the earliest access, followed by eligible Visa cardholders.

Beyond priority ticket sales, Visa and its issuing bank partners will also offer fans opportunities to win concert tickets and exclusive signed Maroon 5 merchandise, adding further value for music enthusiasts eager to experience the tour.

The announcement reflects broader consumer trends across the region. According to Visa’s Global Travel Intentions 2026 Study, nearly 65.7% of respondents said they intend to travel for major international concert tours, highlighting the growing influence of live entertainment on travel decisions. The study also found that payment cards remain the preferred payment method throughout the concert experience, from purchasing tickets to spending during their trips.

“Maroon 5 is a powerful example of how music connects cultures, backgrounds, and generations,” said Danielle Jin, Chief Marketing Officer at Visa Asia Pacific. “For over two decades, they have shaped what people listen to, talk about, and travel for, building a global fan community connected by a shared love for their music. We are thrilled to support the Maroon 5 Asia 2027 Tour and unlock unmatched access for consumers, enabling anyone to be the fan they want to be.”

The partnership aligns with Visa’s broader strategy of connecting consumers with their passions through entertainment, sports, gaming, fashion, and cultural experiences. By combining secure digital payments with exclusive access and cross-border commerce, the company aims to enhance the overall fan journey while making premium experiences more accessible.

The Maroon 5 collaboration also expands Visa’s growing portfolio of global music partnerships. Previous collaborations have included internationally renowned artists and entertainment properties such as BTS, Laufey, The Weeknd, and the MAMA AWARDS, one of the world’s leading K-pop music award ceremonies.

With live entertainment continuing to fuel tourism across Asia Pacific, Visa’s latest partnership highlights how payment technology is increasingly becoming part of the concert experience, offering fans not only convenient transactions but also privileged access to some of the region’s most sought-after events.
